We started Lean Angle Jeans to solve a simple problem: Motorcycle protective jeans are terrible! They make a lot of promises but lack protection, comfort and style. Back in the spring of 2011, we sat down and discussed, as riders, what would make a good protective motorcycle jean. We had several requirements that had to be met: Protection, Comfort, Durability, and Aesthetics without looking like you’re going to carpentry class or auditioning for an 80′s music video. So with our combined passion for motorcycles, 40 years of expertise in the garment industry, and a desire to create the best motorcycle protective jeans in the market, Lean Angle Jeans was born.

The building blocks of our protective motorcycle jeans consist of the following:

Denim
Our premium 12.5oz mid-weight denim is a blend of 98% cotton and 2% Spandex. This special blend offers durability, strength, and flexibility both on and off the motorcycle. Our protective jeans are made with quality YKK zippers, zip up fly, and include flat rivets in the front to prevent any harm to the finish of your motorcycle. For added seam strength we incorporated double safety stitching, and lastly, we added deep front pockets to keep personal items in place while riding.
Moisture Wicking Sports Liner
The sports mesh liner is a thin, soft, material that makes the interior comfortable by wicking away moisture from your body and assisting in quick evaporation and ventilation during high temperatures. It also reduces friction in the armor areas and aids in overall comfort on and off the road.
Forcefield Knee and Hip Armor
Forcefield removable knee and hip armor are included in every pair of Lean Angle Jeans. This armor bears the CE mark, which means the protection conforms to the requirements of EN1621-1 with the European Directive on Personal Protective Equipment. This armor has passed the stringent European standard tests for impact protection. Using Nitrex Evo® a unique high tech shock absorbing material, energy can be dispersed evenly over their surface whilst remaining flexible and comfortable. The Forcefield Body Armor is made of several special layers of Nitrex Evo® high tech energy absorbing material. The armor is lightweight, breathable, flexible and molds to your body as you move around the motorcycle.
Internal Protective Liner
Our internal protective liner is created from our very own knitted blend of two of the toughest synthetic fibers known to man - Kevlar® and UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene). These fibers are abrasion, puncture, and burst resistant. Our internal liner covers the entire jean 100% front and back. The coverage begins from the waistband, all the way down to the bottom hem, leaving no space uncovered.
We had TÜV Rheinland in Germany test our jeans for Personal Protective Equipment CE Mark EN 13595-2 LEVEL 2 (abrasion, impact, burst tests) and we passed the tests, we are currently pending CE mark EN 13595-2 LEVEL 2.
On the image above, the moisture wicking sports liner is removed from the left denim leg to expose the internal protective liner. The internal protective liner covers the jeans 100% front and back, from the bottom of the waist band to the leg cuff.
Hip and Knee Armor pockets
The hip and knee armor pockets are finished in the same comfortable moisture wicking sports liner as noted above. The interior of the knee pockets incorporate a Velcro strip which mate with the Forcefield knee armor. The armor pockets were specifically designed for the size and shape of the Forcefield knee and hip armor, and will not shift, or allow for any unwanted movement while inside of the pocket.

Lean Angle Jeans are both protective and fashionable. The design was created by a top New York City fashion designer and rivals the latest fashion jeans in appearance. Our protective jeans will fit over any motorcycle boots made for road and track applications.
